Finding The Right Office Chair
When you work behind the computer for most of the day, finding a comfortable office chair is extremely important. I tried many different chairs on the lower end while trying to save a buck or two. I quickly learned that I needed to spend a little bit more money to find something that would last and be comfortable to sit in for most of the day.
The chair I found is the Comfort Products 60-5600T Admiral III Big & Tall Executive Leather Chair. It has an extra large seating area and a heavy duty frame that’s built to last. On some of the other chairs that I’ve tried the seat cushion quickly flattens out and becomes uncomfortable after a few months. This executive leather chair has a 500 lb seating capacity which is more than enough even when the kids stop in to distract me from working.
Features:
- Black bonded Leather upholstery
- Heavy-duty iron chrome base with dual wheel casters
- Tilt, tilt Tension, Lock swivel, and Seat Height adjustment
- Meets or exceeds BIFMA 5.11
- 500-pound weight capacity
I ended up purchasing two of these chairs so I could experience the same comfort at my home office and main office. Occasionally, you find chairs that lose pressure in the hydraulic cylinder over time which causes you to constantly adjust the height. This pneumatic seat adjust hasn’t given me any issues and it always stays at a consistent height.
If you’re looking for a great office chair I highly recommend this one. I have yet to find another office chair that checks all the boxes and can stand up to countless hours of sitting behind a desk.
